Privacy policy

The short version

ReddishGreen Dock is a native macOS app that runs on your Mac. The things it captures — window previews, clipboard history, picked colours and screenshots — stay on your device. They are not sent to us or to any third party.

The app

• Clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac (your most recent 100 items) and never uploaded. You can clear it at any time.
• Screenshots, picked colours and window previews are processed on-device to power the relevant feature. They are not transmitted off your Mac.
• Permissions (Accessibility, Screen Recording) are used only to provide the features described on this site.
• Updates are delivered via Sparkle, which requests the appcast file from downloads.rgdock.com. This is a standard web request and is not used to profile you.

This website

• Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate, privacy-first traffic stats. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites.
• Downloads are served from Cloudflare R2. Standard server logs may record requests for operational and security purposes.
• We don't set advertising cookies or sell any data.

Payments (future)

ReddishGreen Dock is free today. If paid licences are introduced, checkout will be handled by Stripe, and payment details would be processed by Stripe under their privacy policy — we would not store your card details. This section will be updated before any paid features go live.
